Talking HCV Elimination: A Live CE Webcast Series for the Appalachian Healthcare Community

These educational presentations will focus on issues related to HCV elimination among Appalachian community care providers. Topics discussed include approaches to identify patients at high risk, HCV screening and management strategies for persons who inject drugs and incarcerated persons, and gaps in the HCV care continuum and key tools that community healthcare professionals can use to achieve elimination goals within a clinical practice.

Dr. Sally Hodder and Dr. Alice Thornton will lead each of the 1-hour presentations along with a community expert in the each of the Appalachian regions. The webcast archive will be available for 1 AMA/ANCC/ACPE credit/contact hour(s) based on confirmed participation and the completion of an evaluation and posttest.
