What's New in PH: Guidelines and Evidence for Improved Clinical Care
Activity Summary:
This AMA/ANCC/ACPE activity features a recorded discussion among three leading pulmonary hypertension (PH) experts and is designed to keep healthcare professionals on top of the most recent clinical findings.
This activity provides an expert discussion around the updated guidelines from the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and European Respiratory Society (ERS) as well as research presented at both ERS and CHEST 2022. These discussions provide the latest evidence for the care of patients with pulmonary hypertension based on data released from these conferences. Additionally, this activity also discusses the array of registry databases, what information has been yielded about the demographic factors, treatment, and survival of patients, as well as their limitations, which provides real-world evidence that informs clinical practice and health policy.
